Origins Productions was launched the singular goal of providing the highest-quality, professional martial arts instructional publications and productions. Our media combines the skills of the most highly trained & recognized instructors with the latest learning approaches and Hollywood-quality production. Each release will be inspirational, motivational, and provide the highest-quality content in martial arts and health media products.

Our Concept

The idea for Origins Productions grew out of frustrations with the quality and approaches of books and videos currently available within the martial arts industry. Very few martial arts videos successfully address traditional martial arts from an educational and motivational perspective. Students were unable to truly learn from the media - which was a waste of their money, time, and an eventual loss to the arts. The details and master-level teachings that have been transmitted for generations were, at best, being on partially shared or, at worst, being lost forever. Countless examples of the shared struggles by martial arts teachers with their publishers – including loss of rights, loss of recognition, and loss of compensation for their contribution, dedication, and efforts.

All of these factors highlighted an opportunity to create a new media company and a new publishing structure that demands a truly high-quality experience, is fair and ongoing, and appropriately recognizes the talents which make the products possible. As well, improving the educational and reference media is one factor we can control for fulfilling our obligation to future generations.
